DJ Switch May not deserve the Award but blame the Industry Players – Bishop Agbey
The Media Mogul has finally added his voice of the trending topic which got heated when many experience DJs were shocked by DJ Switch to win overall best DJ at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards.
Bishop Agbey has been a DJ himself for many years and currently the drive time host at radio one FM, talking to youngprs.com’s Mixtic in a one on one interview he said “Mixtic, I think DJ Switch don’t deserve the award, because she only qualified in 2 out of the 5 selection criteria but I blame her Fellow nominees and the Industry players, because they should have questioned the provisional nomination list instead of waiting till after voting before challenging the result”
Bishop made some emphasis to the fact that DJ Switch has no recognized mixtapes nor played any outdoor event, spinning or club DJing all she does are ceremonial with programmed playlist.
He added that she may have national and international appeal but not a out and out DJ.
He finally made a clear point on voting being the decider favored her, because she got few big gigs and some enviable fan-base who can just vote for her to win over her competitors but as to if she really deserved it, Bishop said No!
