Ghanaian Reggae /dance-hall music fraternity has obviously been suffering from female dominance after the fade away of few successful songstresses who were able to bless the scene with their talents.
Especially after the reign of High Grade Family’s Kaakie and the late Ebony of Rufftown Records who suddenly passed away in her prime hence remaining only two female dance-hall acts currently putting Ghana on the international music map with the Reggae/Dancehall genre.
Thus the promising giant and award winning Pimpim Police Records signed talented dancehall songstress , Euni Melo and the popular dancehall diva AK Songstress who have devoted their all to making dancehall rule the music industry again.
These two are actually putting in the best of effort to keep the dancehall zeal alive as songstresses who represent the genre , with some back to back thrilling Reggae/dancehall tunes.
Euni Melo and AK Songstress are rekindling the hope of dancehall songstresses taking over the music in Ghana once again.
