Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte charged by FA after Chelsea vs Tottenham clash

Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have each been charged by the Football Association following their conflict on Sunday after the Premier League match among Chelsea and Tottenham.

The pair were both shipped off after a furious showdown following the full-time whistle, as Spurs balanced six minutes into stoppage time.

It is asserted that the way of behaving of the two managers was inappropriate.

They have until Thursday, 18 August to answer the charge.

It follows an examination sent off by the FA into Tuchel’s post-match remarks about referee Anthony Taylor.

The German recommended Taylor shouldn’t official Chelsea matches in future.

The Blues were irate that Taylor neglected to punish Rodrigo Bentancur for a test on individual midfielder Kai Havertz in the development to Spurs’ most memorable balancer.

The subsequent scuffle prompted up close and personal rage between the two administrators, which finished with Tuchel and Conte getting yellow cards.

However, with tempers actually running high, the two men engaged in one more altercation at full-time and were shipped off.

In any case, the red cards don’t set off a programmed suspension, meaning both are very nearly 100% to be in the recovered for the following end of the week’s games.
