I’m ready to take highlife music to global stages – DeeBwoy

 

DeeBwoy, a highlife musician, has indicated his readiness to sell the highlife genre internationally.

According to him , he has the ability to sell our rich culture to the rest of the world.

Although he has heard some individuals express concern about the genre’s survival on a worldwide stage, Deebwoy indicated on Takoradi’s SKY FM that he believes it will require some collaborative efforts to attain that milestone.

DeeBwoy promised Nana Kwame, the show’s host, that he is here to take highlife music around the world.
” I’m serious about making genuine Highlife music ” he said.

He also advised veteran musicians and stake holders in the music fratenity to support newcomers in order to preserve our musical heritage.

He mentioned “we still have a long way to go, and we need to be serious about making genuine Highlife music.”

“It is not too late to bring Highlife music to a global audience,” he added.
