Gospel musician Piesie Esther laments for not being nominated at VGMA

This year VGMA nominations list has brought allegations as well as many discussing about the fact that the list is being influenced by affiliations, as some categories and nominations were wrongly done Starting from the Artist of the year, many talked about it as Gospel Artist Joe Mettle was not to be in that category. Also some also said Fameye and Kofi Kinaata was to be nominated for Artist of the year instead of Joe Mettle and others who were on it.
Also many think the criteria as to when an artist should be nominated as An Artiste of the year was not met by the young Artist by the stage name Black Sheriff and so he should have not being nominated for that category.

Opiesie Esther also has come out with her grievances as she and her team were expecting to be have been nominated for at least one of the nominations they filed. She started that for the past 14years for being in the game, and filling for the award she has never being nominated and so she feels that this is coming from the board as many of those selected nominees are affiliated with them.

She also lamented that, she worked hard over the year of review as her works and songs did well on all the digital platforms and meet the criteria of the VGMA board.
…’ I am not saying they are not working but I do not understand the reasons why for the past 14years I have never being nominated for any of the category I file for after meeting the criteria for being a nominee and same faces and names keeps appearing on the nominee list’. She lamented during her interview with Abieku Santana on OK FM.
