Should A gospel artiste pick lyrics from Drinking Spot? – DJ Qwequ to Kwame Dadzie

Papa Qwequ Amissah, an entertainment analyst who doubles as a blogger has replied VGMA board member, Kwame Dadzie on his reason why “Ye Obua Mi” by Joe Mettle didn’t qualify for VGMA Record of the Year.

According to a post by Mic Yamoah reposted by Promoter Wyse, he stated that “According to VGMA board member Kwame Dadzie ‘Ye Obua Mi’ by Joe Mettle didn’t qualify for Record of the Year because the category “looks at originality” and some of his lyrics were lofted from the a quotation in the Bible.

This got the attention of DJ Qwequ who replied h asking where gospel musician gets their lyrics from.
Here is his reply “So as a gospel musician he should get his lyrics from a drinking spot”
