Bishop Agbey of Radio 1 Fm in the eastern region made a Facebook to relate Val’s day to a quotation in the bible which was trying to warn guys from spending on certain meals for ladies on Val’s day because the Bible stated the exact kind of food that was supposed to be used to honor the day.
Little did he know the post was going to bring some controversy from people on the post. He was being lambasted for using his media influence to promote foreign culture instead of promoting local things, meaning Val’s day is not our culture but we are celebrating it without any merit but using the bible to explain why it should be celebrated in a certain way make it even more difficult to believe.
