Biography of Ghanaian – Swiss Afropop Singer Mèla

 

Mèla real name Pamela Owusu is a talented Ghanaian-Swiss Afropop singer who is known for her beautiful voice and stage presence. She was born on 15th March 1996 . She is the oldest of three siblings. From a young age, Mèla had a passion for music and began singing at various musical events.

As a teenager, Mèla was inspired by French Millan pop singer Aya Nakumura. She began performing at local events and talent shows, gaining recognition for her soulful voice and unique style. In 2018, she released her first single “trusted you” which was well received by fans and critics alike.

Mèla’s first single is “11:10” which was produced by Atown TSB. She had other great collaborations on “My Last” featuring the rapper Lyrical Joe and Sasa featuring Vybz Flair and Nii Troble. The EP received positive reviews, with critics praising Owusu’s ability to blend different genres of music seamlessly.

In addition to her music career, Mèla is also a philanthropist and uses her platform to raise awareness about social issues.
