“Winning this title once is really outstanding, but to win it twice is historic and brilliant” – Oliver Khan eulogies Sadio Mane.

Bayern Munich have celebrated Sadio Mané for winning Africa’s footballer of the year.

The club celebrated the Senegalese for achieving this fate successfully for the second time in a row.

CEO of FC Bayern München Oliver Khan in a post sighted on his wall celebrated the young Senegalese player for giving his all to the game and becoming African’s best.

He wrote, “A worthy reception for Africa’s Footballer of the Year! Winning this title once is really outstanding, but to win it twice is historic and brilliant. You can be proud of yourself, and we are proud of you, Sadio Mané! 👏 #MiaSanMia #WeiterImmerWeiter”.

Sadio Mane has become the 10th player to win the African Footballer of the Year award more than once.
The Senegal icon was announced as the 2022 winner at the Confederation of African Football’s awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday.
Mane was in Morocco to collect his award in person, less than 24 hours after making his Bayern debut in the United States.

Mane topped the vote ahead of former Liverpool teammate Mo Salah and Chelsea’s Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
